Had a meal in Merlins, food was unexciting, our evening was mared by the way the staff were outside of the restaurant fighting in the street and the middle of the road when we left. I would NEVER go back to this place.

Had a meal last weekend in this pub which we have used over the last 7 years or so. Sadly our visit this time was not as pleasant, toilets smelt really bad, food was OK but not great, lots of fruit flies flying around. Not really what you want when eating food.

Friendly staff, great service. They even checked out some stock for me. shame about the broken down air conditioning which on a boiling hot day puts a lot of people off.

The Indian food in this restaurant is second to none, the staff are great nothing is too much bother, If it's not on the menu they will do their upmost to accomodate you. Buffet on a sunday is good value especially if you want to try out new things all cooked fresh. Cant say enough about this place it's been around for over 25 years with the same family, we travel over 18 miles just to go to it. Yes it's that good try it.

Went to Ask in Southend last night with my daughter and WOW what a well run efficient restaurant. Service was great, food was served hot and full of flavour. Everything was cleared away and tidied up not left on the tables; even the glasses and cutlerly were polished and sparkling, something that some restaurants don't do anymore and it shows. Hats off to this place and it's staff.

Service at this pharmacy is good but the problems I have experienced is that they do not hold enough stock to meet their customers needs, They serve the local dentist practice and two doctors surgerys. It has been know for prescriptions not to be available due to not having the stock, not really what you need when you feel unwell.

Good selection of fish both tropical and marine stocked. Staff knowlegable and friendly, happy to answer any questions you may have. I have used Maidenhead Aquatics many times, John has been an absolute gem.

Good advice is provided here with regards to keeping fish, knowlegable staff always happy to help. Sundays get busy.

One of the better chinese restaurants in the area, best to book as it gets very busy; the buffett is good with everything cooked fresh. Also do take away.

I had tried to eat at this restaurant several times but they always seem to be in crisis; recently they were running an hour late on food, previously they had a broken shop front window, before then they lacked staff. Perhaps one day it may happen but I am not holding my breath. The staff seemed panicky and unhelpful just running round like headless chickens, not a good impression when you first enter their restuarant.
