Sunday night out for dinner, came across this Indian and thought about giving it a try. The restaurant is very dated and tacky with it's decore. The toilets were not very clean. The food was rather "processed" tasting and the service was impersonal and unfriendly. It was as if they could not be bothered with us (2 people). There was only one other table in use when we were there. The staff were more interested in talking at the bar. We won't be going back in a hurry.
A polite and helpful taxi company. Spoke to a very nice gentleman who spoke clearly, and was very helpful. The price for two people to T3 at Heathrow is £35 pounds.
Rather abrubt telephone manner which does not sit well with a potential customer. This does not reflect the professional image they are trying to portray. Sorry guys, you lost out on your £30 pound taxi fare to Heathrow to someone else.
£35 to Heathrow from the centre of Watford. Phone answered quickly, but nothing was said. I was left waiting for someone to respond to my hellos for about half a minute while another converstation was being carried out. Poor show.
I forgot to mention - I don't know why this Indian restaurant is in the cafe etc section - it is a normal restaurant - not a cafe!
Great place for good Indian food. Fantastic dips with the poppadums. All well presented, with the kitchen able to cater to all tastes. The staff a friendly and helpful. The tables are a little cramped, and you can find yourself sitting close to another party - not good if you are out on a twosome for a quiet talk. Toilets are not the cleanest and the reasturant is looking a bit tacky and run down.
We booked flights to the USA & NZ and found the girls here to be very helpful. Nothing was a problem or too hard for them. Their flight deals were in line with most other agents or cheaper. We will definately use them again.
We take our two cats here and they are treated very well. Linda has a dedicated staff who all seem cat crazy, so no worries about your moggies not getting enough attention. Your cats have their own pens which are central heated, cleaned every day (we have never smelt urine of poo), clean blankets, toys, litter tray, food and water. All the pens have outdoor views of trees, gardens, water fowl, horses and lots of sun - cat heaven. Any special requirements are document and your cat is treated as an individual. Linda (the owner) has a right hand lady (I'm sorry I have forgotten her name) who is very nice and makes you feel at ease when you drop the cats off. Linda is up to date with her bookings and is up front with any questions you may have. The cattery is attend to by Park Ave Vets (who are excellent). Closed on Wednesday.
These people are good. However, they are no longer at the location advertised and the number has changed. When I went to book my car into today for some work, I was told that they couldn't help me, that they had no workshop because they had been moved out of their fromer property by developers and they(PDS) were sick of having to explain the long and complex story of why? I don't want to know why, I just want my car serviced. So much for helping out your customers. It sounds like this business has no where to go and I have to find somewhere else along with how many others.
