About Us

Brief description

(Formerly Leal School of Dance) Dance classes in Ballet,Tap,Modern,Street Jazz, Hip-Hop, Breakdance, Ballroom and Performing Arts for all ages and abilities. All taught by professional dancers, in a mirrored studio! Our teachers are professional or ex-professional dancers, who have worked with Destiny's Child, KT Tunstal, MTV, the Brit Awards, ToTP's and more! We regularly have casting directors into our classes casting for adverts and childrens TV shows. Recently our students have performed in adverts for the 2012 Olympics, Moshi Monsters and LUMI Jewellery and have appeared on CBeebies shows like Nuzzle and Scratch and on teachers TV. Students have also had the opportunity to audition for West End shows, and some are lucky enough to have appeared in Oliver! We offer friendly, yet professional training for all ages and ability. Trade Bodies / Associations

We teach free work, and also ITSD syllabus classes in ballet, modern and tap. Our pupils have the option to take exams twice a year if they wish, and we also do an annual show at the Watford Palace Theatre. We regularly have casting directors into our classes casting for adverts and childrens TV shows, see above for more info.

Our studio is fully equipped with full length mirrors, and ballet barres. The room is clean and bright. Well heated in the winter, and well ventilated in the summer.

    I have attended the adult tap classes now for two years and my daughter dance's twice a week (she would go more if she could!) The quality of the teaching is second to none, but it is the friendly family like atmosphere of the school that makes it a pleasure to be part of. Definately 5*

  • 5 Babies Ballet Classes

    After attending Tappy Toes for a year we wanted to stick with Claire, so we moved on to Babies ballet at Leal's. I can highly recommend Claire, and the school. She is fantastic, especially with the little ones, and keeps the children completely enthralled.
